When I lived in NYC, I worked at an amazing place called Fetch Club.  It’s the ultimate doggie day care/grooming/training/doggie hotel/boutique in New York.  I met so many wonderful people and made so many amazing friends (some with two legs and a lot with four legs!).  I’ve stayed in touch with my pals at Fetch Club and got to paint a mural on the wall of their new “puppy room”! It’s going to be a special place for pups under a certain age to play.  

I had never painted on that scale before and definitely learned a lot! I’m pretty pleased with my first go at a mural, but am ready to do more! 

It was a lot of work and even more fun.

I made this portrait of my brother in honor of his birthday.  Just two months ago he moved out west to Park City, Utah to pursue his dream job.  Our family is very close, so I know how hard it is for him to be far from us, but I couldn’t be more happy and proud of him.  Fortunately I get to visit him in about two weeks! We are going to climb those mountains I drew behind him.

Hi!

I haven’t been very active here, but I didn’t get stuck in someone’s basement or run over by a car, I just had my gall bladder removed! I am feeling much better and healing quickly.  

I have lots of fun things I am working on and cannot wait to show it to you (the internet), but in the mean time please enjoy this doodle of a sweet chihuahua I know, Gladys.

Drawing small repetitive things soothes my soul.

Here’s a drawing I started while sitting on a bench at Madison Square Park. I took it home and dressed it up and now I’m sharing it with you.

For some strange reason, I decided to revisit these pals and spruce up their bike ride a bit. Here is a little peek at what’s going on. I am not usually allowed to stay up this late, but Alvy the cat said it was okay just for tonight. Sweet dreams!
