Bonne Nuit le petit lapins!

Bonne Nuit le petit lapins!

This semester I had the opportunity to write my own story for my book illustration course.  I decide to pay homage to my father.  When I was young (and now that I am older too!), he would tell me, my brother, and my sister all sorts of tall tales.  Here is a spread from the finished product.
I was not a big crust eater, on toast, on pizza or any other crusty food items.  In hopes of getting me to not be so picky and finish my food, my father would tell me that eating crust makes your hair curly.  To which I would reply, “I don’t want curly hair!”.

(Now that I am older and wiser, I realize that crust is some times the best part!)
